FELIX IN WONDERLAND un film de Marie Losier sélectionné à Locarno Film Festival en Hors Compétition.

WORLD PREMIERE
16 Août 2019 // Locarno Film Festival

avec l’incroyable FELIX KUBIN dans le rôle principal.

France, Germany – 2019 · DCP · Color · 50′ – o.v. English/German

Production Ecce Films.(Mathilde Delaunay).

” Marie Losier’s phantasmagoric film “Felix in Wonderland” took over 5 years in the making, was shot on 16mm film and contains everything you’d expect from a carrier of storks: sci-fi sounds, owl teaching, ventriloquism, a shouting boys’ choir, car accidents, auto-surgery, musique concrète, buildings of concrete, Tischtennistanz, under-water confessions and much more.

Losier is that unusual movie portraitist who gives equal weight to her subjects’ real lives and their imaginary worlds, yielding films as eccentric as the genius artists she has long documented. With her portrait of Kubin, we are invited to discover the methods of an electronic musician whose Dadaist impulses and awesome dance moves belie a seriousness of purpose and conceptual rigor rarely found on the dancefloor.”
